Court Approves Distribution of Net Settlement Fund in Case against United Healthcare

The Court signed the Final Distribution Order In American Medical Ass'n v. United Healthcare on February 3, 2012. Pomerantz, as Co-Lead Counsel and Lead Settlement Counsel, obtained a $350 million settlement for a class of both out-of-network providers and subscribers in January 2009.

Processing of disbursement checks will begin shortly.

Pursuant to the Order, any claims received by Berdon on or after the date of the Order are barred from receiving any distribution from the Net Settlement Fund. For more information on the case, and to read the Order, please click here.
