Adam G. Kurtz graduated cum laude from New York Law School in 1988, where he was Book Review Editor of the New York Law School Law Review. In June 2009, Mr. Kurtz received an MBA from the Baruch/Mt. Sinai Graduate Program in Health Care Administration. He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association.

Following law school, Mr. Kurtz served as a law clerk to the Honorable Juan G. Burciaga, then Chief United States District Judge, District of New Mexico and began his career as a litigation associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he worked on complex securities fraud and antitrust litigation. He was also a solo practitioner in New Mexico where he concentrated on federal criminal defense and civil litigation. In addition, Mr. Kurtz served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the General Litigation and Labor and Employment law divisions of the New York City Law Department.
